Gojek launches GoCorp to help companies arrange employee transportation allowance

Gojek yesterday (13 October) launched a new service called “GoCorp”. The service helps companies arrange their employees’ transportation allowance. With this feature, employees can easily access and use Gojek’s transportation services to support their work activities. Employees do not need to claim reimbursements as their companies can pay the fares directly if they choose GoCorp as the payment method.

“Gojek's transportation services have been trusted and used by tens of millions of Indonesians, including employees and business players to support their work or business mobility. However, they still face challenges related to reimbursement of transportation costs. GoCorp answers this challenge,” said Gojek Global Head of Marketing Amanda Parikesit.

GoCorp allows companies to track, monitor and manage employees’ transportation costs via the employees’ travel logs in real time. GoCorp offers transparency, so companies could reduce transportation costs and ensure that employees use this feature only for business trips, not personal purposes.

“Through this innovation, business players can easily arrange employee transportation allowances and employees no longer need to go through the trouble of making reimbursements. With GoCorp, businesses could also save on transportation costs as compared to having their own company fleet, GoCorp does not require maintenance costs and fleet operational costs,” Amanda stated.

“By utilising GoCorp, companies can also gather data and insights about their employees’ trips. This data is valuable as it could help them improve their operational efficiency. This GoCorp solution can be utilised by business players of various scales, ranging from MSMEs and startups to large companies. GoCorp does not require a certain number of employees in order to be able to use it,” he added.
