Menjadi Manusia and Vision+ release documentary

Online media Menjadi Manusia in collaboration with Vision+, an over-the-top (OTT) service by MNC Media, released a new original series entitled “Daur Hidup”. The series consists of nine episodes that aired on 1 December.

Daur Hidup” is inspired by the human life cycle, such as birth, growth, development, home, visiting, moving, settling, gathering and death. This life theme explores many things related to human’s daily life, such as phenomena that occur, how to view events, meanings and messages that can be read.

“This is the first time we have released an original series that provides such a deep moral message. We hope that this series can have a positive impact so that all of us as human beings are always introspective and increasingly appreciate the meaning of life, which is actually very short,” said Vision+ Managing Director Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo.

Clarissa added that the collaboration is in line with Vision+'s mission to make more original series produced by local production houses as a form of support for Indonesian artists and actors.

“In this collaboration opportunity with Vision+, we would like to invite all of our friends to take a break, take a deeper look at life, which we have put the essentials into this film. Through the ‘Daur Hidup’ series, we hope to remind you of the messages of life, as well as help us all to understand the meaning of life and enjoy the process of life itself,” said co-founder & The Heart of Menjadi Manusia, Adam A. Abednego.

The series is directed by different directors in each episode. The directors are Putri Sarah Amelia, Wenda Theadora, Joan Elizabeth, Greg Soegono, Winnie Benjamin, Alvin Aprilianto Tan and Bismo Triastiroadji.

“This is the essence of collaboration, which is bringing together many things, potentials and different backgrounds for one good cause. We are also grateful to be able to work with many great artists, filmmakers and the Vision+ team who really support the work of Indonesians," said Adam.
