YEEZY x Gap x Balenciaga 

Ye, or formerly known as Kanye West, has confirmed a collaboration with YEEZY, Gap and Balenciaga titled “YEEZY x Gap Engineered by Balenciaga”. According to Ye, the collaboration is a vision come true to make incredible products available to everyone at all times while aiming to increase $1 billion sales goals.

GAP launched NFT hoodie art

GAP is the next retailer to launch an NFT collection. The brand collaborated with Brandon Sines, the artist behind the NYC-based Frank Ape project. The NFTs come in the form of a series of digital hoodie art with different levels of rarity at different price points starting from 2 tez (XTZ) or $8.30. The NFTs are limited edition with gamified digital experience built on the Tezos blockchain which is considered as a more energy-efficient option. 

Prada partnered with Adidas to launch NFT project

Prada has announced its first NFT in partnership with Adidas. The NFT project allowed people to contribute to large-scale digital artwork and earn some money for their involvement. The project, named “Re-source”, is linked to Prada and Adidas Originals' Re-Nylon collection, high-end athletic wear made in Italy with recyclable materials. The brands selected 3,000 images at random and compiled them using openFrameworks into a single mosaic NFT overlaid on the Adidas for Prada campaign image by digital artist Zach Lieberman. The NFT will be auctioned on SuperRare from 28 January.

Donda taps into sportswear

Athlete Antonio Brown collaborated with Kanye West to launch Donda sports brand which will become a competitive sports brand to athletes. According to Brown, the collaboration was carried out because there are not many fashion lines that make fashionable yet comfortable clothes for athletes. Through the collaboration with Kanye, Brown hopes to come up with creative and genius ideas for athletes.
