Barbie releases first Indonesian barbie doll for Anne Avantie

Indonesian designer Anne Avantie recently shared her inspiring experience on Helmi Yahya’s YouTube channel after Barbie released a Barbie doll of herself. The Anne Avantie Barbie doll was released back in May. 

The doll is considered as a token of appreciation from Mattel under its Barbie Role Models programme, Barbie’s initiative to share the stories of great women around the world.

Alicia Keys dons headpiece by Rinaldy Yunardi 

Designer Rinaldy Yunardi on 23 December announced another great achievement. This time, Alicia Keys wears a headpiece he designed, as posted on his Instagram account

Rinaldy has designed accessories worn by international celebrities, such as Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Madonna. 

Persikabo third kit

Bogor-based football club Persikabo released its third kit for the 2021/2022 collection. The club released its home and away kits back in August. By still incorporating Persikabo’s origin which is Bogor, for this third kit design studio IMG took inspiration from Bogor’s history as well as its geographic location. 

The black-coloured jersey features a pair of two concentric circles near the collar. It symbolises and is inspired by silhouettes and atmosphere of the two rivers that traverse the city of Bogor, Ciliwung and Cisadane.

Leather goods brand ROUNN to be featured at SISSAE boutique store

Leather goods brand ROUNN announced a collaboration with SISSAE. Under this collaboration ROUNN products will be sold at SISSAE boutique store at Plaza Senayan. 

Coinciding with the arrival of ROUNN, SISSAE introduced its latest collection for SISSAE Chic, entitled Maglia Volume 3. The colours of this new collection complement and will go well with ROUNN's elegant and well-structured leather bag.

SVH launches new collection JUXTAPOSITION

Urban brand SVH just released their latest collection titled JUXTAPOSITION. Inspired by dualism, SVH highlights the concept of femininity and masculinity in this collection.  The brand takes a new outlook by launching the first gender-specific collection, complementing both feminine and masculine figures. 

Designed with muted colours, exciting textures and compelling cuts, the collection also marks SVH’s effort to maintain its brand identity which prioritise versatility and unisex wear.

Slow fashion brand Kalla Rona launches its first collection

Women's ready-to-wear slow fashion brand Kalla Rona recently launched its first collection. Titled “Euphoric of the Sea” with the hashtag #akusuKALLAut, the collection is inspired by the beauty of the sea as well as its current condition that has been worsened by societal or corporate ignorance. 

This collection is ethically-sourced as Kalla Rona would like to take part in changing the future of the oceans. Every piece is designed carefully, representing the gleam of the oceans. Kalla Rona called this collection a metaphorical yet wearable collection of art pieces.
