After collaborating with world-renowned brands, illustrator and visual artist Dwiky KA continues to make his mark in the art world. This time, the illustrator is holding a solo exhibition in Japan. Located at Gallery X, PARCO Shibuya, the exhibition is scheduled for 30 July-9 August.

The exhibition will present selected artworks from 2017 as well as artworks in collaboration with Bracket Boyz. The exhibition has been planned since 2020 along with two curators, @vloqee and @okamotoreiji. Dwiky has been in contact with PARCO since 2019 when he was commissioned to create a flyer for its music event YAGIBOY.

As part of the exhibition, Dwiky also partners with several artists and fashion brands -HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, Kosuke Kawamura, Tappei and Balansa- for an exclusive merchandise collection during the exhibition.

Dwiky developed his interest in drawing at a young age. He began to pursue his hobby as a profession during highschool when he created illustrations for underground bands. “Illustrations or drawings are the easiest medium to express anything,” said Dwiky. “And being an illustrator is a position I believe to be suitable in spreading an idea because it’s not just through the art world, but also in the commercial industry.”

He has partnered with Vans, Google, Elhaus and Rolling Stone magazine. His upcoming projects include exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland and France.
