IM3 Ooredoo launches intergenerational collaboration and GERAI ONLINE as part of their ‘Bersatu untuk Merdeka’ campaign

To celebrate this year’s Independence Day, IM3 Ooredoo is launching a campaign titled ‘Bersatu untuk Merdeka’. It highlights the true meaning behind the word ‘unity’, especially given the current pandemic situation that forces Indonesian to celebrate it in a whole different way. With this campaign, IM3 Ooredoo encourages us to work together hand in hand and appreciate people around us who continue to illustrate the campaign’s title in these trying times. 

As a part of the project, IM3 Ooredoo released an intergenerational collaboration between Iwan Fals with the young generations musicians such as Hindia, Rendy Pandugo, Petra Sihombing. They launched a video campaign singing Iwan Fals’ song titled ‘Satu Satu’ that has been rearranged by Petra Sihombing.

The video also features figures from different fields, highlighting people who work hand in hand to help those around them to get through the challenges of this difficult time together. The video also delivers the message that people can be gathered together in any kind of way. As long as we are together and united, we will sense the feeling of freedom.

“I am really glad to be a part of this intergenerational campaign as a form of unity that voices out the spirit of ‘Bersatu untuk Merdeka’. We hope that all messages conveyed through this collaboration could be well received by everyone, inspiring them to not give up but continue to unite and strive together,” shared Iwan Fals who becomes the representatives of Indonesian senior musicians in this collaboration.

IM3 Ooredoo also launched a GERAI ONLINE Indosat Ooredoo, an accessible platform that provides all IM3 Ooredoo’s products and services in one designated site. Through this site, customers are able to purchase data plans as well as prepaid and postpaid SIM cards, do top-ups, pay postpaid bills, and even upgrade their current 3G SIM cards to 4G in one place. 

According to Ritesh Kumar Singh, the Chief Commercial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo this campaign is a part of IM3 Ooredoo’s attempts to overcome the challenges people experience these days due to the pandemic. This campaign also proves that IM3 Ooredoo continues to innovate despite the pandemic to keep providing its customers great telecommunication and digital services in accordance with their needs. 

“Through the spirit of ‘Bersatu untuk Merdeka’, we launch GERAI ONLINE Indosat Ooredoo as a form of support for the government to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19, as through this online booth, customers could easily enjoy and access various telecommunication and digital services in one place, safely and comfortably without leaving the house,” he added.
