Digital Bergerak to auction Compass shoes painted by Nevertoolavish

Digital Bergerak will host another auction on 19 August as a part of its collaborative charity initiative. This time, Digital Bergerak partners with Nevertoolavish to create a limited edition Compass shoes.

A line by William Shakespeare, “You are a lover. Borrow Cupid's wings and soar with them above a common bound”, is said to be the inspiration behind the shoes’ design. With such a romantic mood, the size-43 sneakers feature a drawing of a cupid with his arrow along with dark green and pink-purple ornaments with a hint of orange splash on a black canvas. 

In the previous auctions, Digital Bergerak sold a painting by Mochtar Sarman for Rp250,000,000 and Iwan Fals signed guitar for Rp54,000,000. All proceeds from the auctions will be used to aid micro, small and medium sized enterprises that are financially impacted by the pandemic. 

Digital Bergerak is a charity initiative from 16 independent media, including The Finery Report, to help MSMEs cushion the impacts of the pandemic. A donation also hosted on KitaBisa until 21 August.
